Spring pins features:
Using spring pins is a very reliable low cost fastening system, which is particularly suitable for large volume production. It is used in huge quantities, in countless applications, and in widely ranging industries from automotive production to electronic. A Slotted spring pin is a cylindrical slotted pin which is accurately made to a diameter greater than the drilled hole into which it is pressed. The purpose of the slot in the pin is to allow compression when inserted in the hole. The outward spring forces act positively in preventing loosening by vibration. Apart from the low basic cost spring pins offer vastly reduced assembly times. Only a plain drilled hole is required to nominal drilling tolerances. There is no need for any reaming, threading or counter boring. The pins are easy to insert, either by hand or by automated assembly. No special skills are required; assembly can be carried out quite safety with unskilled labour.
Advantages:
Universal, Very low cost, Fast and Easily Installed, Highly suitable for large volume
